  Our sporty and lightweight conical SLIP-ON system offers a great balance between price and performance, and represents the first step in the exhaust system tuning process. The change will also be visual as our conical hexagonal muffler perfectly fits the exterior line of the BMW superbike and adds a clean racing image. The system is significantly lighter when compared to the stock muffler and features exceptional production quality, combined with a racing sound output, but still remaining legal for street use. The muffler outer sleeve is made of titanium, while the end cap is made of carbon fiber

Performance


Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON system on the BMW S1000RR (without muffler insert):

Power & Torque: the exhaust system modification with the SLIP-ON OPEN system results in a major boost in performance, delivering a massive 188.10 HP at 13175 rpm on the back wheel. But the increased power isn’t available just at the top of the range; the system shows its quality from 5500 rpm already up through the entire rpm range. Max. increased power between the Akrapovic and the stock system is 1.16 HP at 13160 rpm. Besides this, the torque is substantially higher in a lower rpm area and from middle to high rpm area.

RACING & EVOLUTION EXHAUST SYSTEM for the BMW S1000RR (2010)

Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems are designed for riders who demand maximum performance from their motorcycle. Both systems are significantly lighter, if compared to the stock exhaust system and feature exceptional production quality, hi-tech materials and of course increased engine performance combined with pure racing sound output. The Akrapovic Racing and Evolution systems were developed to complement the racing character of the S 1000 RR. The Evolution system is made entirely of our exclusive high grade titanium while the Racing system uses stainless steel header tubes and link pipe. We offer titanium or carbon-fiber muffler for each combination. Both systems are not street legal and are designed for racing purpose only.

Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the BMW S 1000 RR (without muffler insert):

Power & Torque: The power increase with the Akrapovic system is substantial, and can be seen from 7000 rpm right to the top of the range. At 13270 rpm we measured 191.30 HP, with a max. power increase of 11.15 HP at 8450 rpm. The system’s effect on the torque and power curve is huge and strongest at midrange rpm. The main increase starts at around 4500 rpm and continues right into the over-rev range. All this will help you shave lap times and result in a much smoother ride.
