Honda’s maxi enduro gets the treatment! For the Varadero 1000 we have developed an Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP SERIES exhaust system for riders who want to make a base-level tuning modification to their exhaust system. The Akrapovic Slip-On SP series is an excellent combination of enhanced performance, top production quality and affordability. The system has noise dampers installed for the EU market, and is available without the dampers for the US market.
Performance
Measurements of the Akrapovic SLIP-ON SP series system on the HONDA XL 1000 VARADERO (without noise damper):
Power & Torque: the system gives the torque curve a nice boost, with an increase in the middle of the range, the most useful range for day to day riding. The power is increased in the same part of the range, as well as at the top of the range and in the overrev range. The system complements the engine characteristics exceptionally well. At 8200 rpm the rear wheel puts out 91.7 HP.
